About Our Events

Immerse yourself in our events, a celebration of local food and food culture brought to you by Tweed Foodie Fest.

Foodie Fest transforms the streets of our local towns, into a vibrant marketplace of food stalls, showcasing the fresh produce and gastronomic diversity of the Tweed.

As you meander up the street, local restaurants serve up tasting plates for $6 and $12, allowing you to experience the tastes and talents of the Tweed in a progressive dinner style.

Entry to all events is free, but the best way to enjoy the night is to book a table for you and your friends to settle in, share good food and conversation and enjoy the live music and marketplace atmosphere.

Seating is $15 per person and must be booked in advance.  We recommend you also pre-purchase some $6 coupons to use as currency on the night.

Cash is not accepted at any of the stalls, so purchase your coupons online before you come, or bring cash (only) on the night to purchase from our coupon stands.

Tweed Foodie Fest is the brainchild of local event manager Kerry Turner who started with the Unity Fest at the showground in 2008. The event was of exceptional quality rich in experience, finest in food, dance, arts, music and film.

The Friday night long table dinner was originally held at the showground. It was so popular that it wasn’t long before the Unity Fest would become the Tweed Foodie Fest and held in the main street. The Foodie Fest is now a regional event with people driving for miles to sample the finest local food from paddock to plate.

Tweed Foodie Festival is a celebration that sees the locals coming together in the main street for a massive street party. Kerry Turner and her team have worked long and hard to bring this quality local food events to the Tweed.
